AGES: 7-12 (as of August 1, 2015)
JUNE 29th - July 24 - Registration will be held during normal business hours at the Daphne Recreation Department (8-5 Monday-Friday). Registration Fee is $80.
JULY 27th: Beginning of Late Registration ($10.00 late fee added to registration fee)
Date and time TBD – Concussion/Head Injury training at Daphne City Hall. Mandatory for anyone wanting to Head Coach. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to help coach in any capacity.
AUGUST 1st: 10:00am – 12:00pm Player equipment check-out at the Nicholson Center. Player and parent must attend to sign for equipment. Equipment will be needed for evaluations. Coaches and assistant coaches need to help size and distribute the equipment. Coaches need to be there at 9:45. The Nicholson Center is located across from May Day Park on Captain O’Neal Dr.
AUGUST 4th: 6:00pm – 7:00pm Equipment checkout makeup (last chance to get equipment). Coaches need to help size and distribute equipment.
AUGUST 4th: 7:00pm Coaches meeting at the Nicholson Center. (Anyone wishing to coach or help coach should attend).
AUGUST 6th: 6:00pm Player Evaluations at the Trione Park. Evaluations will be conducted in full pads (helmet, shoulder pads, and football pants with pads must be worn). Bring your own water.
AUGUST 8th: 2:00pm Player selection at the Recreation Department. Coaches and Assistants only.
AUGUST 10th: Practice may begin for all teams.
There will be no Jamboree this year. Games will begin on Saturday, Sept. 12. Official weigh ins will be held the week prior to first games. Games will be played throughout Baldwin County. Parents must provide travel/carpool to and from games.
UNIFORMS: Players will be provided with helmet, shoulder pads, one mouthpiece and jersey.
Parents will be required to purchase football pants with pads, chinstrap and rubber
PRACTICES: Practice times, location, frequency and days will be determined by the coach.
**Each child will receive a trophy at the end of the year provided by the Recreation Dept.**
