Sign up for Daphne Girls Softball for ages 7-12

All girls 7-12 years of age (as of Jan. 1) are eligible to play Daphne Girls Softball.
Registration fee is $60 per player!
Most games will be played at Trione Park in Daphne, but some games could also be played in Spanish Fort and Fairhope. Games in Daphne will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games in Spanish Fort and Fairhope could be played on any night of the week. Games are scheduled to begin the week of March 22. Most teams will practice twice a week prior to the start of games, usually Tuesday and Thursday nights but this could vary team to team.
Player evaluations will be held on February 2nd and 4th at Trione Park at 6:00 PM. All players must attend one of these evaluations. The evaluations help the coaches to split the teams as evenly as possible.
The city will provide each child with a jersey, visor/cap, and socks. The parents must provide shorts/pants, shoes/cleats and glove. It is also highly recommended that each parent purchase their child a batting helmet of their own. This will help to ensure that each child has a helmet that fits properly and provides adequate protection. Ages 9 and up must have a protective facemask attached to the helmet. Batting helmets can be purchased at Game Day Sports, Jerry's Sporting Goods, Hibbetts Sporting Goods, and Walmart or Target very inexspenively.
There will be a coaches meeting on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 3:00pm at the Daphne Recreation Dpeartment. Anyone who signs up to coach or asst. coach needs to attend this meeting.
