Birth certificate required if new to the Daphne Dixie Youth.
All residents of Daphne ages 5-12 (as of April 30th) are eligible to play Daphne Dixie Youth Baseball.
All boys 13 or 14 years of age (as of April 30th) are eligible to play Daphne Dixie Boys Baseball.
$90.00 first player, $80.00 second player, and $60.00 third player.
The Daphne Dixie Youth Organization is a seperate entity from the Daphne Dixie Boys Organization which is operated by the City of Daphne. If you have children in both age brackets, you will have to register them seperately. Discounts are only available for children of the same immediate family, playing in the same organization.

Games will be played at Trione Park in Daphne and will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights. Games are scheduled to begin the week of March 22. Most teams will practice twice a week prior to the start of games.
Player evaluations for 14 yr old boys will be held on February 2nd at Trione Park at 6:00 PM. Player evaluations for 13 yr old boys will be held on February 4th at Trione Park at 6:00 PM. All players must attend the appropriate tryout date. The evaluations help the coaches to split the teams as evenly as possible.
The city will provide each child with a jersey, cap, and socks. The parents must provide pants, cleats and glove. It is also highly recommended that each parent purchase their child a batting helmet of their own. This will help to ensure that each child has a helmet that fits properly and provides adequate protection. All helmets must have a protective facemask attached to the helmet. Batting helmets can be purchased at Game Day Sports, Jerry's Sporting Goods, Hibbetts Sporting Goods, and Walmart or Target very inexspenively.
There will be a coaches meeting on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2:00pm at the Daphne Recreation Dpeartment. Anyone who signs up to coach or asst. coach needs to attend this meeting.
